We kicked off the fall season by going to the Pumpkin Patch the very
first week of October, which was a great time to go as we almost had the
whole place to ourselves! The pumpkin patch gave a discount if you
wore costumes, and the kids were excited to oblige! We went with our
favorite playdate friends, Kristi, Davey, and Gordon. We had so much
fun walking through the corn maze, admiring the decorations, seeing the
animals, playing on the inflatable slides, playhouses, and playground.
Another highlight for the kids was that the new Frontrunner train that will run from SLC to Provo (opening in Dec) was doing practice runs and it went right by the pumpkin patch several times. The kids have been anxiously waiting for the train to open so they can ride it. They see the train parked at the new station all the time. So to see it zooming by (80 mph) was VERY exciting! Before we left, we picked out some pretty indian corn which we hung in
our kitchen. We had a difficult time getting everyone to cooperate for
pictures at the same time. They were more interested in playing, so
after a few attempts I put the camera away and played with them!
